Doesn't Look Right: D-Will in Turkey

Arguably the biggest NBA start to jump overseas during the extended NBA lockout, Deron Williams hit the ground running in Turkey on Saturday. In his first appearance with his new club, Beskitas, Williams put up big numbers with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists in just over eighteen minutes. With Williams success overseas, it may sway other NBA All-Stars decide to take their talents across the pond. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

  1. I'm not in any position to knowledgeably comment, but I would think more players will go overseas if the lockout continues long enough to make players feel a bit of economic pain. Of course, that is assuming that the players don't collect the pay awarded to them in their contracts during a lockout--I don't know if they do. But if they are still getting a healthy salary, players will only go overseas just for the love of playing the game.
